Here's something I came across today: a husband and wife bought a condo, moved in, spent $30K on renovations, and then found out that they didn't own that condo, but the one next door instead.
They got the key from the listing agent who now refuses to return his calls. The title company involved also won't return calls. So now, the poor couple are considered 'squatters' in the condo they thought they owned (cue the attack dog lawyers).
Fox31 called the Coldwell Banker listing agent's supervisor, who wouldn't comment but said 'their lawyers were looking into the situation.'
